The National Teachers' Union (NATU) is subject to the POPI Act 4 of 2013 and undertakes to protect personal information and to only use such information for purposes associated with membership of the Union. The applicant hereby consents to NATU recording, storing and processing the information provided in this application and hereby authorises NATU to make the necessary administrative arrangements to implement membership. This may include the provision or sending of information to members regarding matters of employment, professional development and services offered by the union indicating as well as the sending of information via social media and in the form of Newsletters to members regarding matters of employment, professional development and services offered by the Union.

AUTHORISATION TO DEDUCT MEMBERSHIP FEES FROM PERSAL AND OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
I hereby authorize the Department to deduct from my salary at the end of each month an amount of R130,00 (Hundred and Thirty Rand), this being my membership fee to the National Teachers' Union. This authority is to remain in full force until a written cancellation is submitted by me.
