Dispute Resolution Indaba (09 - 10 June 2022)
NATU will be hosting a capacity-building workshop on Dispute Resolution. The Central Executive Board has taken the initiative to empower and upskill Case Managers to handle disciplinary proceedings, unfair labour practice and unfair dismissal cases from an informed perspective. The Indaba will be facilitated by a seasoned CCMA Commissioner. Attendance will be drawn from CEB members, Case Managers, National and Provincial Negotiators as well as Shop Stewards.
National Elective Conference (07 - 09 September 2022)
All Regional and Branch Executive members (Delegates and Observers) are affably invited to the National Elective Conference to be held at Olive Convention Centre, Durban from the 7th to the 9th of September 2022, starting at 08H00 daily.
The Conference will be held under the theme IN PURSUIT OF BETTER EDUCATOR HEALTH AND WELLNESS: Redefining the education system to mitigate the negative impact of Covid-19, deracialise the workplace and enhance school safety.
The occasion will be attended by the National Council – Regional and Branch Executive Members (Delegates and Observers), NATU members in general, leaders of other Teacher Unions, delegates from both Basic and Higher Education Departments, various key role players in Education, Leaders of School Governing Bodies and NATU’s business partners.
