Constitutional Court has notified NATU that it will hand down judgement into the appeal of the matter between Public Servants v Department of Public Servants and Administration on the non-implementation of this clause, on Monday 28 February 2022.

Members will recall that in financial year 20220, employer reneged with regards to adjustment of salaries of public servants and was supported by Labour Court, declaring the resolution unlawful and invalid, despite it being implemented for two preceding financial years 2018 and 2019.

NATU prays for favourable outcome in this matter for justice to be served and collective bargaining to prevail. Further details will follow after handing down of judgement.
